Yesterday i had an interview to become the manager of my team. Was so nervous and it was in the hottest room ever.
Should find out tomorrow or monday if i get it, will be well chuffed if i do. Not just for the extra cash but really because i never thought i'd be in a position to apply for a senior position like this.
To apply for the position i had to write a statement about why i would be suitable for it. Did it at 6am on the deadline day and showed a couple of close friends at work who i knew would be honest and they were well impressed so i'm quite hopefull.
just now keeping my fingers and toes crossed, lol.

Thanks fellas. I really think i have a good chance but trying not to get my hopes too high just in case.
One good sign is that the woman i might be taking over from has recently asked me to take on one of her responsibilities after i stepped into it while she was on leave. Nobody knew what shifts they were on so i sorted and distributed rotas/timesheets to all in our team, after this she aked me to do the next months worth.
The only shame is that this lady is happily married and is also my dream woman, i mean perfect in every way, grr!!

Well... just got the call.
Job was given to a scruffy hippy who comes in late almost every day and takes hour and a half lunch breaks instead of the one hour ones we should take.
slightly annoyed about it but there you go, cant win them all.
At least the receptionist still wants to shag me, lol.

Sorry to hear Stavross
Don't worry though, hippies always die young or choke on their own vomit or wheatgrass juice on the job at some point

Unlucky mate, we all lose out to a hippie freak at some stage, just another one of those things.
