If on border of overtraining, slight cold or old injuries etc 20g/day usually about right, I spread mine through the day between meals or with shakes (some recommend not to take L-glut with food b/c competition for absorption)..
When no injuries etc 10g/day does about right

Your probably right, i seemed to remember my bulk unflavoured protien used to taste funny, but now i like the taste. I bought BCAA`s in tablet form as i heard they dont taste (or mix) well as powder.

As for Glutamine, i just mix it with a small amount of water and swill it down. Doesnt taste bad. Normally have it with Alcart now too.
Mick, Whats the crack with taking things like Glutamine with whey for instance? wouldnt have thought it would make a difference but your the second person thats said it now.
