One of the bulk suppliers is normally best, prices wont vary much, i tend to get mine by the kilo from whichever bulk supplier comes out cheapest or am ordering from..
If on border of overtraining, slight cold or old injuries etc 20g/day usually about right, I spread mine through the day between meals or with shakes (some recommend not to take L-glut with food b/c competition for absorption)..

When no injuries etc 10g/day does about right

Yeah 2x10 should be fine, morning and afternoon/evening probably worth a shot..I tend to just dump 10g in a bottle of water to sip through the morning and then do same for afternoon, tastes quite sugary in high doses too ^_^

Tastes sugary? Ive just bought some L-Glutamine from one of the bulk suppliers and thought id give it a go.... mine tastes disgusting. Easily the worse tasting suppliment ive ever had. I just mixed about 5->8g up in a pint of water.

Best to take it on an empty stomach away from other competing amino acids

Your probably right, i seemed to remember my bulk unflavoured protien used to taste funny, but now i like the taste. I bought BCAA`s in tablet form as i heard they dont taste (or mix) well as powder.

Yeah, BCAAs are rank! I quite like Alcart though.

As for Glutamine, i just mix it with a small amount of water and swill it down. Doesnt taste bad. Normally have it with Alcart now too.

Mick, Whats the crack with taking things like Glutamine with whey for instance? wouldnt have thought it would make a difference but your the second person thats said it now.

how long is it best to wait after taking L-Glute before you can consume other items, in other words how long does L-Glute take to absorb?

Ive been experimenting and have found thats the best way to minimise the taste of it. Its strange, the stronger the mix the better it tastes!
