what are you guys taking post cardio these days?

as above really. is it still just a case of a simple whey shake or are things a little more advanced now? my problem is cardio makes me ravenously hungry! what would be a decent thing to eat that wouldnt just add back the cals i had just burnt.

The best combo to use is 20g whey with 60-100g maltodextrin.
the whey slows down absorbtion of carbs also, so it makes sense to hold back on the whey.
30 mins after take more whey at around 50g.
through in some creatine and glutamine and your having a party!!
then a meal.

I use whey and sometimes some husks in there too.
If it is cardio at the end of a depletion workout then is is oats and whey and creatine non stop for a day or so.

nothing supplement wise.
Just a large meal, plenty of veggies, little carbs and loads of protein.
