Noticed over the last hour or so that every time I close the browser window and log into UGM it doesn't store my details so I have to sign in every time.

Also Irish Beast is no longer fcuking slaughtered so this is quite timely!

I did some board upgrades about an hour or so which would have invalidated all session cookies - should settle down though. Scream in my direction if it doesn't and I'll look into it.

Annoyingly it seems to have sorted itself out. I have nothing to do so was going to complain bitterly all evening.

It's okay - I'm off to the gym finally, so the mods can deal with it!

Are you sure it wasn't a kiss? It's just that...well.. you know... I've been meaning to say this for a while.. :flirt:

Right Egghead.

This is still a problem but only on FF for some reason. Installed the latest updates and its still not working.
IE and Safari are fine?

Im a very busy man I dont have time to be clicking Sign in all the time!

Seriously though I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem?

I'd be surprised in all honesty as I was careful to make sure that the issue only affected you.

I'll look into it for you - could you please delete your UGM cookie though first, just in case that's ballsing things up. Sounds like it from the fact that it's only one browser.

Tools -> Options -> Privacy - > Show Cookies - > find the UGM entry and zap it.

Then log in (remembering to click 'stay signed in') and browse to a page, then close Fx and open it again to see if you are still logged in. If this doesn't work I'll see if I can reset it this end.

No joy with the cookie thing.

You and your fcuking upgrades!

Ever heard the expression "If its not broke don't fix it?"

Useless fcuker!

But it was broke - it allowed you to log in without any problems which is obviously undesirable behaviour...

I'll look into it and do me best to fix it for you.

Right Im giving this a bump to see if anyone else is having problems.

I got a new laptop last week and Im having exactly the same problem. Sometimes UGM keeps me logged in and sometimes it doesn't. Ive tried compeltely deleting all my cookies several times but to no avail.

Last machine was Windows 7 ultimate with IE8
This one is Windows 7 Home with IE8

Its really driving me nuts. Other forums are all fine.

I generally use from the laptop at home and my desktop in work.
Using the latest Chrome and FF 3.6.3 on both.

But I occasionally use from a number of other computers. Not seeing any problems whatsoever.
Lowest Common Denom: I'm not using IE8

TBH, I think you deserve it for using IE anyway, don't care about the version, at least half of the problems I encounter on a daily basis come back to IE.
It reeks of shit.
