It's okay - I'm off to the gym finally, so the mods can deal with it!
Are you sure it wasn't a kiss? It's just that...well.. you know... I've been meaning to say this for a while..

I'd be surprised in all honesty as I was careful to make sure that the issue only affected you.
I'll look into it for you - could you please delete your UGM cookie though first, just in case that's ballsing things up. Sounds like it from the fact that it's only one browser.
Tools -> Options -> Privacy - > Show Cookies - > find the UGM entry and zap it.
Then log in (remembering to click 'stay signed in') and browse to a page, then close Fx and open it again to see if you are still logged in. If this doesn't work I'll see if I can reset it this end.

Ever heard the expression "If its not broke don't fix it?"
Useless fcuker!

I got a new laptop last week and Im having exactly the same problem. Sometimes UGM keeps me logged in and sometimes it doesn't. Ive tried compeltely deleting all my cookies several times but to no avail.
Last machine was Windows 7 ultimate with IE8
This one is Windows 7 Home with IE8
Its really driving me nuts. Other forums are all fine.

Using the latest Chrome and FF 3.6.3 on both.
But I occasionally use from a number of other computers. Not seeing any problems whatsoever.
Lowest Common Denom: I'm not using IE8
TBH, I think you deserve it for using IE anyway, don't care about the version, at least half of the problems I encounter on a daily basis come back to IE.
It reeks of shit.
